Stowell Concrete
offer customers the opportunity to design their own block
to individual specification so long as the order requirement
is at least 250 tonnes of blocks. This is to allow reasonable
payback on the production set-up costs.
We have set certain limiting guidelines to the sizes that
can be specified. These are as follows...
The footprint as made of any new block design can be as small
as a 100mm slip with a minimum thickness of around 38mm (this
being the minimum possible for successful filling of the
mould).
Also the footprint as made of any new block design can be
as large as 1160 x 915mm this being the maximum size of the
block-making mould.
The two preferred heights of block when made are 215mm and
440mm high – the nominal absolute minimum and maximum
heights being 200mm and 450mm respectively, with the sides
of the product ideally being vertical when made.
